Born in New Bedford, the son of Carlos and Aldora (Barcelos) Pacheco of Fairhaven, he was a resident of Fairhaven before moving to Mattapoisett last year.
Carl was a graduate of Fairhaven High School, class of 2006 and received a Bachelor’s degree in Business from U-Mass Dartmouth in 2010.
He had worked as a marketing executive for the Cape Cod Times.
An avid soccer player and fan of F.C. Porto, Carl enjoyed watching all local Boston sports teams. He was happiest when spending time with friends and family.
Surviving in addition to his parents is his sister, Chanda Coutinho and brother-in-law, Jeffrey Coutinho; his godchild, Melandia Coutinho; his nephew, Marcio Coutinho all of Fairhaven; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
His funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at 10AM in St. Joseph’s Church, 74 Spring St., Fairhaven. Visiting hours Monday 4-8pm in the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Fairlawn, 180 Washington St., Fairhaven. Burial will be in River-Side Cemetery, Fairhaven.
