Christine M. DaLuz

Christine M. (Cook) DaLuz, 55, of Acushnet, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at Mass General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Roger DaLuz, with whom she shared over 25 years of marriage.

Born in Boston, she was the daughter of Dianne (Daley) and the late Richard Cook. She was a graduate of Plymouth Carver High School and attended the Boston Conservatory for Dance.

Christine, also known as “Christine Fox,” radio personality, worked at Fun 107 since 1995. For the last 14 years she successfully owned and operated a small group personal training studio in Plymouth MA called Get in Shape for women. She married the love of her life, raised her two sons with pride, and centered everything around her family. They were her main priority. A caring, loving, selfless woman that always put other’s needs above her own. She enjoyed the beach, trips to Florida, being a baseball mom, her friends and her King Charles Cavalier “girl” Jessie. She touched many lives, and her contagious smile and laugh will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her husband Roger, she is survived by her two loving sons, Joshua and Brody of Acushnet; mother, Dianne Cook of Marion; brothers, Brian Cook of Boston and David Cook of FL; mother and father in-law, Antonio and Leonor DaLuz of Fall River; brother and sister in-laws, Peter and Maggie DaLuz of Fall River and Kevin and Debbie DaCosta of Swansea, and many nieces and nephews. She was the granddaughter of the late Michael and Harriet Daley and the late Stephen and Mildred Cook.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025 at 9:00AM from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME AT FAIRLAWN, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM in St. Joseph Church, 74 Spring St., Fairhaven. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery. Her Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025 from 5:00 to 8:00PM in the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME AT FAIRLAWN, 180 Washington St. Fairhaven, MA 02719.
