Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Paul and Eva (Hanfield) Laflamme, she was a lifelong Southcoast resident. Constance was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy and attended Bridgewater State College. She was the owner-operator of several Nutrisystem Franchises.
Connie loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. After her husband John passed away, Connie raised six wonderful children before becoming a successful business woman. She was an avid sports fan and especially loved her Boston Celtics. She enjoyed bingo and trips to the casino. She loved going to New York to see a Broadway show and was a volunteer at the New Bedford Festival Theatre for many years. She was a longtime member of the Fairhaven Mothers Club and she was also a volunteer guide at the New Bedford Whaling Museum.
She is survived by her children, Thomas Aiello and his wife Martha of Fairhaven, John Aiello Jr. and his wife Germaine of Fairhaven, Nina Aiello of Fairhaven, Peter Aiello and his wife Lisa of Ohio and Lisa Aiello-Cambra of Florida; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Paula Aiello and sister of the late Pauline Fontes.
Her funeral service will be held on Monday, April 8, 2024 at 9:00AM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Fairlawn, 230 Washington Street, Fairhaven, MA 02719 followed by a 10:00AM Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph’s Church, 74 Spring Street, Fairhaven, MA 02719.
