Born in New Bedford, he attended Bristol Agricultural Technical School and summered in Carver for many years. A Welder, he worked in his family business Olivier & Sons Inc. in New Bedford over 30 years. A quiet, sweet, gentle man, he loved nature, being outdoors and being surrounded by beauty and birds.
Surviving in addition to his parents: sisters: Elizabeth McKnight and her husband Eddie of Acushnet, Louise Mayer of Port St. Lucie, FL, brother: James Olivier of Prov., RI, sister-in-law: Claudette Olivier-Tobin, several nieces and nephews and dear friends: Ernie and Val. He was the brother of the late Stephen Olivier.
