She was the daughter of the late Anthony Antone Fernandes and Anita Jeanette (Chartier) Sylvia.
Janet was a lifelong lover of horses and cherished the time she spent keeping horses and ponies in her younger years. She also loved spending time with her family and was more like a grandmother figure to all her nieces and nephews. Janet found joy in cooking, making people laugh, and watching old movies and Westerns on television. Her infectious laugh and the sound of her humming throughout the day will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving nephews and nieces, Zachary Camacho, Damion Dane, Aimee Fortin, Angelee Rocha, Cassandra Camacho, Amanda Fortin, Felicia Rodrigues, Rachel Fortin, and Jared Bunaskavich; her brother-in-law, Daniel Dane; and many great-nieces and nephews. Janet was predeceased by her siblings, Aloha Camacho, Anthony Sylvia, and Carol Fortin.
