JoAnn Patterson

Born in New Bedford, she was the daughter of the Blanch (Quirk) and the late William Souza.

JoAnn truly had a gift and loved to cook. She worked as a chef for many years. Anyone who was lucky enough to sample her delicious creations would attest that she was the best.

Trips to Martha’s Vineyard, shopping and soaking up the sun were a few of her favorites. Whether she was out in the garden or tackling a home improvement project JoAnn liked to stay busy. But what she enjoyed the most was spending her time at home with the love of her life, Peter and their dog, Zoe.

She is survived by; husband Peter Patterson and mother Blanche (Quirk) Souza. Sons: Jason Patterson and wife Chantale Patterson of Martha’s Vineyard. Nathan Patterson and spouse Kayla Pimentel of Fairhaven. A granddaughter Taylor Patterson of Dartmouth. Late brother William (Yogi) Souza. Many cousins, nephews and nieces.
