So sorry to learn of John's passing. We were good friends during his many years at Madewell. He was so loyal to the owners and gave his all as their accountant. Steven's Home Improvement won't be the same without his guidance and wise council. Rest in Pease, John

My memory of Mr. Alves is that when he came into Jakes Diner he always made me smile. He had such a big a bright heart and I don’t remember him ever being in a bad mood. To the Alves family, your father was an awesome man and will be missed.
