Born in Rochester, a daughter of the late Ted Braley and the late Louise (Gifford) Hughes, she lived most of her life in Fairhaven and graduated from Fairhaven High School in 1947.
Mrs. Roy worked at Titleist for 35 years before retiring in 1992. She enjoyed gardening, traveling and sewing.
She is survived by two sons, Kenneth Roy and his wife Phing of New Bedford and Stephen Roy and his wife Madelyn Hotte Roy of Fairhaven; a daughter, Sandra Brienzo and her husband Dennis of Fairhaven; and three grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Edmund Braley, Jr.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 10AM in the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT FAIRLAWN, 180 Washington St., Fairhaven. Visiting hours Tuesday 6-9PM.
