Mildred (Frazier) Perry, 96, of Fairhaven, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Alden Court, where she was given the title of Honorary Ambassador. She was the wife of the late Ralph Perry, Joseph DaSilva and Charles Cabral.
Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Daniel and Mary Ann (Azevedo) Frazier, she lived most of her life in New Bedford before moving to Fairhaven.
She was a graduate of New Bedford High School, class of 1941 and Southeastern Massachusetts University.
Mrs. Perry had worked as a certified nursing assistant at Southeastern MA Home and Health Aides for 17 years and Berkshire Hathaway for many years. She also worked at Sears and Robuck for a short time. Mildred was Vice President of the Sundowner’s League for 10 years, a square dancer with the Midtown Twillers of Fairhaven and volunteered for the Senior Citizen Sconticut Neck Nutrition Program.
Survivors include two daughters, Theresa Hebert of Fall River and Elizabeth Souza of Tucson, AZ; three grandchildren, Paul Hebert, Debra and Steven Souza; three great grandchildren, Brittany, Alyssa and Cameron Hebert; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Edith Dussault, her brother, Ernest Frazier and her grandson, Richard Souza.
