Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Peter and Alice (Esinhart) Arpin, she had resided in Fairhaven for the past 68 years. She was a graduate of Campbell School in 1944.
Mrs. Roderiques was a communicant of the former Sacred Hearts Church and then St. Mary’s Church in Fairhaven. She and her husband were the owners of Ace Asphalt Co. and previous to that she worked for Aerovox as a payroll assistant.
Muriel was the last surviving member of Our Lady of St. Anne’s and a member of the Fairhaven Mother’s Club, serving on the scholarship committee. She was a member of the Travelers Club and liked traveling with her husband and friends. Muriel enjoyed playing cards, competing in Rummicube with family members, sharing regular movie nights with the family ‘girls’, and taking trips to Foxwoods. Over and above these, her favorite was any time she spent with her loving family in any way she could and there was always a revolving door of them coming through her home each day. So many were blessed by her.

Bleuer and husband John of Sudbury, Ann-Marie Roderiques of Fairhaven, John Roderiques, III and wife Susan of Fairhaven and Robert C.
