Neil T. Arsenault

June 16, 1968January 22, 2019

Neil Arsenault, 50, of New Bedford, unexpectedly passed into eternal peace on Wednesday, January 23, 2019.

Neil was born in Worcester and grew up in Fairhaven, son of Patricia Arsenault and the late Roger Arsenault. Neil graduated form Fairhaven High School and New England Tractor Trailer Training School. Neil was big-hearted and generous, and enjoyed making people laugh. He was an avid sports fan, particularly of the Boston Bruins. In addition to his mother, Neil is survived by his brother Peter Arsenault and his wife Kelli of Fairhaven, sister Rosemary Hollembaek of Waltham, nieces Denise Jalbert of North Andover, Elmire Arsenault of Fairhaven, Tiffany Farrell, Jenny Farrell, Lisa Farrell, Crystal Farrell, Jessica Farrell, and Heidi Connolly, and nephews Jason Farrell, Eric Farrell, Chris Farrell, and Eddie Farrell. A funeral service will be held Thursday, February 7 at Fairlawn Mortuary, 180 Washington St., Fairhaven, followed by interment at Riverside Cemetery in Fairhaven. I met Neil back in 1990 and he was such a good friend to me. Through the years we would reconnect from time to time and he was always the same Neil. I loved running into him here and there. He’s a wonderful soul. So sad he is gone too soon.
