Born on October 29, 1934, Norry was a fixture in the Westport community, know for his dedication to his family and his passions. He spent many years working at Dartmouth Pools & Spas, where he built a reputation for hard work, honesty, and reliability.
Norry found great joy in the outdoors. An avid hunter, he was passionate about hunting and was well known for his dedicated hobby of raising beagles, caring for, and training for his beloved dogs.
Norry’s legacy lives on through his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his former wife, Janice (Mackay) Aubut. He was the loving father of Norry Kent Alves Jr. and Gayna Marie Alves and his predeceased daughter, Kim Noreen Meisel. He was the proud grandfather of Jessica (Meisel) Tognacci, Chad Meisel, Alessandra Alves, and Alyssa Alves.
In accordance with his final wishes, Norry will be cremated, and all service will be held privately by the family.
