

Philip Roswell Temple, age 95, of South Dartmouth, MA passed away at home on August 7, 2013 after a battle of Alzheimer’s disease. He was he husband of Dorothy L. Temple to whom he has been married to for the past 45 years.
Born in Lancaster, MA the only child to the late Chester Maxwell and Alvia Helena (Hutt) Temple, he spent his youth in Hopedale, MA until going off to college at the University of Maine at Orono and Syracuse University in the School of Government Administration.
Phil worked for Sikorsky Aircraft division of United Aircraft-representing them in Washington D.C. He later worked for the War Production Board in D.C. before accepting a commission in the Navy. Phil started Filfast Corp. in Holliston, MA. Upon their retirement he and his wife, Dorothy, spent 20+ years at their home in Mallorca, Spain, where he was very active in the U.S. Navy League, serving as the European President for many years. He was very proud of his time served with the U.S. Navy League.
In addition to his wife, survivors include his two children, daughter Christina King and her partner Jaime Cassavant of Lanesboro, MA and son Douglas Temple and his wife Kathy of Brimfield, MA. He is also survived by his granddaughter Santana King and his wife’s two children of a previous marriage, Peter Rabaioli and his wife Mary of Camden, ME and Diana Rabaioli and her husband Ronald Cavallo of Edgartown, MA.
