Roger A. Provost, age 65, of New Bedford, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2025 at the Hulitar Center at Hope Hospice in Providence. He was the husband of Lori (Viera) Provost with whom he shared 24 years of marriage.
Born in Fall River, the son of the late Maurice and Rita (Blanchette) Provost, he had resided in New Bedford on Allord St. for 25 years.
Mr. Provost had worked as a hardware design engineer at New Age Micro.
Roger was an avid reader and history buff. He enjoyed model making, especially trains and steamboats. Roger loved spending time on the water boating and jet skiing.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his siblings, Daniel Provost, Andrew Provost, Connie Messier and Michelle Provost; and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025 from 9:00am-12:00pm with a Celebration of Life at 11:00am in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Fairlawn, 180 Washington St., Fairhaven.
