Betty was born in Red Ash, Virginia, daughter of Earl Charles and Martha Charles Street. She retired from City Hospital and worked in Physical Therapy. She assisted her husband in pastoring Our Lords House of Prayer church for many years. Betty is preceded in death by her loving husband, Don M. Singleton. Betty is survived by her daughter, M. Sue Paturzo, son in law, Edward Paturzo who cared for her at home, and son, Don R. Singleton Jr., grandchildren, Angela Barrone, Mike Branson, George “Bill”Branson, Chad Branson, Seth Singleton, and Thene Singleton, and many great grandchildren. Betty was a loving mother, wife and grandmother. She will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held at Rose Hill Funeral Home 3653 W. Market St., Akron, Ohio, on February 20, 2018 from 2-6pm. Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery.
