Ervin Thomas

Ervin Thomas Sr (55) returned to his heavenly home December 1, 2018.

Ervin was born in Tuscaloosa Alabama to Jesse and Gracie Thomas on December 9, 1962.

Ervin was an entrepreneur at heart. He was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. He was smart, loving and generous. He wanted the best for everyone. His advice and knowledge was priceless and he touched everyone’s heart that knew him. One of the most important thing was his family. He was blessed with a large family and is dearly missed by his loved ones who understand the fact that he is at peace with his creator.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory his parents, Jesse and Gracie Thomas, his children, Mario Jones, Tyronza (Derrick) Roper, Sukia Cooper, Ervin Thomas Jr, Dierre Robinson, Rayshawn (Marshalle) Rush, Danita Roberts, Tasha Thomas and Demareah Martin, his siblings, Leroy Grant, Eddie (Audra) Grant, Carolyn (Marcus) Reliford, Dora Thomas and Terrance Thomas, Grandkids, Mario Jr, Tyreon, Denym, Adonis, Savannah, Kani, Honesty, Bre'Asia, Dominique Jr, Dom'Marie, Domi'Onna, Julius, Cartel, Madison, Taliah, Da'Kari and Camaiyah. Special Cousin, Annie Walker, Special Friend, Danielle Barnes, Best Friends, Roscoe, Renae, Larry, Roxanne, Phil, Yvette, . Also a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Claude and Edna Mae Taylor, Golia Mae Winbush and Robert Lee Thomas; son, Dominique Thomas Sr.; brother, Jovan Suggs; and nephew, Angelo Jones Jr.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday December 8, 2018, Calling Hours will be at 11:00am, Service will be at 12:00pm at Second Baptist Church 690 S Main St, Akron, OH 44311. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery Akron, OH. Condolences can be sent to 869 Hartford Akron, OH 44321.

The family would like to thank everyone for keeping them in your thoughts and prayers. The comforting words, cards, flowers, food, donations and visits are appreciated. Special Thanks to Rose Hill Funeral Home, Second Baptist Church, Renae Hill and Shawn McWain. A more personal acknowledgement will be sent at a later date.
