Growing up on the family farm her first job was teaching in a one room school house. She started as a switchboard operator with the phone company in July 1946 and retired from United Phone Co. as a supervisor in 1991.
She enjoyed travel, time with family, playing the piano, and singing in the church choir. Louise was a long time member of the Eastern Star.
Preceded in death by her parents Albert and Gratia Musgrave ,her dear cousin Jenny Grantham (Bronaugh), husbands Joseph Zanko and Louis B. Hopp.
She is survived by sons Douglas (Janet) Zanko and Phillip (Kim) Zanko. Grandchildren Sarah, Andrew, Robert, and Ashley (Allen) Bowers, and her cousins Dick Bronaugh and Marjorie Crawford.
A private service will be held for the family at 3:00 pm on January 9 2016 in the Catavolos Funeral Home.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, a donation be made in Louise’s memory to your favorite charity.
