OBITUARY
Jack E Musser
June 26, 1934 – February 14, 2021
Jack E Musser, age 86, entered into eternal rest on February 14, 2021, following a stroke and then COVID-19. He was reunited, on Valentine’s Day, with the love of his life, Donna L Musser.
Jack retired from Goodyear as a Supervisor and often joked that he was retired longer than he worked. He received many awards for his outstanding work and dedication.
He was active in his church, Mt. Zwingli, UCC where Jack helped prepare and serve many steak dinners, did gardening and delighted in singing in the choir, especially at Easter and Christmas. Jack was associated with the Cleveland Clinic Hospice community for more than 25 years, where he passed. While volunteering he took pride in his gardening skills, trimming trees and maintaining the grounds. He loved reading, meeting new people and camping with his family and friends. Jack traveled cross country and relished entertaining at his home, especially during the holidays.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Donna, son-in-law Kevin B. McWhorter and brother Russell Musser. Jack is survived by his children Jill (Joe) Brusko, JoEllen McWhorter, Denise (Scott) Graf, and Douglas (Betty) Musser; grandchildren Meredith (Warren) Capps, Matt (Cat) Brusko, Mallory (Perry) Tabak, Brent (Danielle) McWhorter, Chad McWhorter, Karlie (Anja) Graf, Kelsey Graf (Matt), and Taylor Graf; great-grandchildren Bodhi and Ari Tabak and Ellie McWhorter. Jack is also survived by three sisters Janet, Sharon, and Rita and sister-in-law Jane. We would also like to recognize and thank his dedicated friends Bob and Georgia Richie and his good neighbor Sheila. Jack brought much joy to his family, whether they were camping, playing games or having pizza and popcorn on Sunday nights. He will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers his family requests donations made to the Hospice Care Center at 3358 Ridgewood Rd, Akron, OH 44333

Bob and I are so sorry for your loss. Jack was a very special friend to us and we will miss our Sunday morning breakfasts, singing with him in Mt. Zwingli’s choir, our many visits and calls with him, and his smile and hugs!! Jack was always pleasant, encouraging and helpful. We cherish the good memories we have of our weekly euchre games with Jack and Donna and our visits to their Bradenton, FL home. I am happy for Jack that he is reunited with Donna but sad for us as we will miss him. Blessings to all, Bob and Georgia Ritchie

Jack and Donna were wonderful people, spectacular neighbors as we raised children on Middlehurst and Landis. Now they can rest and be together.

Your Dad, Jack, was a wonderful brother-in-law. He and your mother could always be counted on to help us when we lived in the Akron area. He was fun to be around at all the family gatherings and I will always remember his kindness.
Take care. You all are in my thoughts.
