Ronald L Sense, age 76, was born on July 18, 1941 in Massillon, Ohio.

Beloved husband to Judy for 32 years. Loving father of Vicki (Greg) Luckring, Rick (Coleen) Sense, Kurt (Jackie) Mears, and Kristin (Matthew) Maynard. Proud and loving grandfather to Carter, Jenna, Kaila, Kyle, Kaiden, Tyson, Taylor, Jace, and Jocelyn.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents James and Rhea Jane Sense, and his brother Robert L Sense.

Ron was an avid sports fan and devoted father and grandfather. Nothing brought him more joy than supporting and watching his children and grandchildren participate in various sporting activities. He would spend hours at games cheering them on and showing his support! Ron also enjoyed golf for much of his life and played in several leagues throughout his life and played many rounds at Turkeyfoot golf course in Canton! As passionate as he was about Sports, he was even more passionate about supporting and loving his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his family and his friends but we know he will be smiling down on us from above and offering his unique criticism and advice to all of us from heaven.

Honoring Ron's life on Wednesday, July 18th with a Memorial Service at 6PM and a Celebration of Life immediately following until 9PM at Grace Church Bath Campus 754 Ghent Rd. Bath OH 44333

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Ron's memory to the Perry Alumni Association Attn: Tom Raymondi Athletic Dept. 3737 13th SW Massillon OH 44646

1 Corinthians 9:24-25 - “Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.” “Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.”

What great memories I have of Ron during our years at Perry. Although a year younger, Ron accepted me as a friend, taught me how to water ski, and gave me many enjoyable moments watching him on the gridiron at Perry, Kent State, and the Canton Bulldogs. Although we haven't seen each other for years, I will treasurer my friendship with Ron forever. He was a gentle giant among men, and a wonderful person to be around. My deepest sympathy to Judy and the family for their loss.

So very sorry to hear of the loss of a good family man and a great cousin. Our family always enjoyed our visits to Massillon to see our cousins Ronnie and Bobby many years ago. I always enjoyed riding in my Uncle Jim's boat on Lake Turkeyfoot and seeing my sweet Aunt Rheajane again. She was always so charitable and kind and their home was so welcoming to our family. Her two boys turned out to be fine men and will be missed by all. My thoughts and prayers go out to all the Sense family and friends of my cousin Ron. May God's love be with you during this time of grieving.

Ron was one of my favorite cousins to visit when I was a child living in Ohio. We always felt so welcome when we went to his family's house in the summer. He was like an older brother to my sister, Judy, and myself. We both thought he was so handsome! :) I was so glad we could reconnect after so many years and could send Christmas cards to one another. Dear Vicki and family, please know that our family is keeping each of you in our prayers as you go through this grieving process. "Weeping comes in the night, but JOY comes in the morning." May God's Presence give you comfort and peace always.
