

Adolph worked as a machinist for T.J. Gundlach Machine Company, in Belleville, for 27 years until his retirement. He married the love of his life, Ethel N. McRoberts, on February 11, 1950. This beautiful union brought 5 daughters. He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing dominoes, and often visiting the beach. He was known as the master BLT maker. Sonny and Ethel celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in Florida, on the beach, with all of their family and friends. It was a joyous occasion for the two of them and their family. He was a loving husband, dad, grandpa, great grandpa, brother, uncle and friend. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Adolph L. and Dorothy V. (nee Johnson) Jarosik, and two brothers; William (Diane) Jarosik and Daniel Jarosik.
Surviving him, are his loving wife of 68 years, Ethel N. (nee McRoberts) Jarosik, 5 daughters; Sherry (Ron) Lease, of Theodosia, MO, Dorothy (Fred) Nugent, of Belleville, IL, Nancy (Vincent) Rivera, of Belleville, IL, Barb (Tim) Meinders, of New Athens, IL, and Kathy (Brian) Wayt, of Smithton, IL, his grandchildren; Jason (Sherry) Lease, Justin (Crystal Farrow) Thompson, Todd (Leslie) Rivera, Shaun (Zareth) Rivera, and Katelyn (Nick Snyder) Wayt, 7 great-grandchildren; Peyton and Dalton Lease, Brendan, Bradley and Brooklyn Thompson and Taylor and Owen Rivera, his sisters; Rose Marie (Gerold) Eldredge and Patricia Jarosik, his brother, Phillip (Charlotte) Jarosik and a number of dear nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, relatives and friends.
The family of Mr. Jarosik would like to take the time to acknowledge and send thanks to Dr. Thomas Bayer, Smithon Police Officer Adams, Med Star ambulance service, and the Memorial Hospital Emergency Room Staff for your diligence, patience, and efficiency during this difficult time.
