

Mr. Crosby was a retired construction manager, and taught the Carpenter Apprentice Program at Local 433, Belleville, Ill. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, riding motorcycles, and was a “want to be” golfer.
Mr. Crosby was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred P. and Mildred, nee Schilb, Crosby.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Phyllis Crosby, whom he married in 1958; his daughters Cindy (Randy) Doughty, formerly of Belleville, Illinois now of Hampton, VA, and Connie (Glenn) McBride, of Belleville, Ill.; his grandchildren, Katie Doughty, Dylan Doughty, Tyler Doughty, Shanley McBride, and Cassie McBride; a sister Patricia (Robert) Meehling, of Belleville, Ill; an uncle and dear friend Charlie Schilb; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral: Services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, August 5, 2010, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dr. Tinge officiating. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.
