

Al was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. He also loved to golf, making a hole-in-one at both, Arlington Golf Course and Spring Valley Golf Course. He retired from Southwestern Bell and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. He enjoyed tending to his garden and giving away his tomatoes to family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Shirley Julleis, nee Titze; his parents, Aloys A. and Margaret, nee Anderson, Julleis, Sr.; and a sister, Arlene Alessandrelli.
Surviving are his children, Chip (Karen Schneider) Julleis, of Swansea, Illinois and Jana Julleis, of Mesa, Arizona; two nieces, Lynn (Scott) Sampl and Laurie (Dan) Keegan; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral: Services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, June 6, 2013, at the funeral home with Rev. Charles West officiating. Entombment will follow in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
