Arline Mae Duff

Mrs. Duff was a past member of the Ladies of the Moose, Belleville, Ill. and the Belleville Boat Club. She retired from Famous Barr. She was also an active member of Christ United Church of Christ, Belleville, Ill. She enjoyed shopping, traveling, and crafts. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister; who will truly be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold W. Duff; her parents, Edward and Louise, nee Schmidt, Green; two brothers, Edward and Richard Green; a sister, Jacqueline Scharringhausen; three brothers-in-law, Billy Ray Craig, Rev. David McCord, and Orville Duff; and a sister-in-law, Judith Green.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her daughter, Jill (Doug) Hartung; two grandchildren, Kara (Nick) Nolte and Derek Hartung; a great granddaughter, Kinslee Nolte; a brother, Wayne Green (Friend, Vera Phillips); two sisters, Dolly McCord, and Marlene Craig; a brother-in-law, Robert Scharringhausen (friend, Audrey Hanlon); two sisters-in-law, Shirley Green and Helen Duff; and many loving nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation: Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at Christ United Church of Christ, Belleville, Illinois.

A Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at the church, with Rev. Dr. Arthur Tinge officiating. Interment will be held privately in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
