

Mr. Tillman was an Ironworker and a member of Local 392 in East St. Louis. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and an excellent handyman who could fix anything. Bill loved to workout, exercise and always took great pride in himself. He was very artistic and had a love for both drawing and music. A real people person, Bill would do anything for anybody.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, who was really more like a mother to him, Margaret Hughes.
He is survived by two sons Brandon (Bree Parr) Tillman and Cody (Laura Schmittling) Tillman both of Swansea, IL; a daughter, Shelby Tillman of Fairview Heights, IL; a granddaughter, Kimberly Tillman; a girlfriend, Melissa Nungesser of Belleville; his former wife, Stephanie Loughery; 2 brothers; 1 sister; a very special cousin, Frank Schneider; 4 great-aunts, Sandra Schneider, Alice Parris, Peggy Wartenbe, and JoAnn Simmons; 1 great-uncle, Adolph H. Schneider; 2 cousins, Jennifer Tillman and Gina Bauer; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4:00 till 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31at Lake View Funeral Home, 5000 N. Illinois, Fairview Heights.
Memorial Service: A eulogy given by Gina Bauer will be at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31 at the funeral home.
Per his wishes, cremation was held.
