Bonnie D. Craig

Bonnie graduated from Argenta High School in 1943. She worked at the Caterpillar Military Engine Company in Decatur during World War II where she met Hal Craig in 1944. They were married in 1949 and spent 64 years together. She was a member of Westview Baptist Church, Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and was active in the American Business Women’s Association. She retired from EMGE School District #175. Bonnie was a talented crafter and loved to go to garage sales. Her biggest joy was her family. She supported her children and grandchildren in all of their activities.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Perry and Verda, nee Menecke, Dennis, step-mother Maude Dennis, and husband, Hal Craig.

Surviving are her sons; Steve Craig (Debbie) of Belleville, Illinois, and Doug Craig (Cindy) of Urbandale, Iowa, grandchildren; Ryan Craig of Belleville, Illinois, Jeffrey Craig (Stephanie) of Fairview Heights, Illinois Hannah Craig of Mt. Shasta, California, and Tyler Craig of Urbandale, Iowa, great-grandchildren; Kadyn and Ramzey Craig of Lansing, Kansas, brother-in-law, Robert Craig (Helen) of Decatur, Illinois; and nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation: Friends may call from 5-8 pm, Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Illinois.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 am, Friday, October 24, 2014 at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Illinois. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
