Carolyn was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her greatest accomplishments were her children and grandchildren and she found great joy in spending time with them.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Robbie, nee Duke, Smith; her husband Ronald C. Simpkins.
Surviving are her sons, Roger (Lisa) Simpkins and Ronald (Christina) Simpkins II; grandchildren, Candace Scharringhausen, Rachel Simpkins and Riess Simpkins; one great-grandchild, Conner Scharringhausen; one sister, Susan (William) Tutt.
