Carrie Genevieve Gullett

Carrie Genevieve Gullett, nee Williams, 93 of O’Fallon, IL, formerly of Sunnyland, IL, passed away on June 13, 2012 at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL. Carrie was born on July 2, 1918 in Grantsburg, IL.

Carrie had worked at Bergners department store, Peoria, IL in the drapery department and at local grocery stores as a clerk in the Sunnyland, IL area. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed making quilts. Her greatest joy was serving her family whom she adored. Carrie will be sadly missed.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, William “Willy” H. Gullett, who she married on March 18, 1938; parents, Frank and Katie, nee Volle Williams; three brothers and one great granddaughter.

Carrie is survived by her three loving sons, Dwan (Rachel) Gullett, Joe (Jean) Gullett and Ray (Helen) Gullett; ten grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to Cambridge House or Heartland Hospice.

Visitation: friends may call from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 16, 2012, at Cambridge House, 844 Cambridge Blvd., O’Fallon, IL.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Cambridge House, O’Fallon, IL, with Pastor Doug Munton officiating.
