Cathy D. Postin

Cathy was a charter member of Parents and Friends Specialized Living Center, Swansea, Illinois. She was formally employed at SAVE, Challenge, and Community Link. She loved music, karaoke, kittens, McDonalds, her books, and her family. She loved and was loved by her SLC caretakers and friends, who were her family for 31 years. She was a blessing to all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Postin.

Surviving is her mother, Wilma Postin, nee Smith of Fairview Heights, Illinois, four brothers; Terry (Amy) Postin of Flora, Illinois, Joseph “Jody” (Jane) Postin of Auburndale, Florida, Carl (Vickie) Postin of Fairview Heights, Illinois, and Frank Postin of Fairview Heights, Illinois, two sisters; Wilma Jo (Keith) Robinson of Smithton, Illinois and Linda Carlock of Lebanon, Illinois, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends.
