Clifford Kenneth Hickman

Clifford K. Hickman, 83, of Collinsville, Illinois, passed away at his home on August 2, 2026. He was born on April 10, 1943. For the final six years of his life, Clifford made his home with his loving daughter, Lizzy, who cared for him with love and devotion throughout that time.

Clifford worked for Illinois Power for 20 years. He later retired from Fairmount Park after 17 years of service with Local 44 in Collinsville. During retirement, Clifford treasured spending time with his family and friends. A devoted St. Louis Cardinals fan, he especially enjoyed watching baseball with his brother Cletus and his niece Cheryl.

Those left to cherish Clifford's memory include his children, Kenny, Elizabeth “Lizzy,” and Courtney; his grandsons, Dezmon Hickman, DeOnta Smith, Darius Hickman, and Logan McClain; his granddaughters, Kyshana Lytle and Shanessa Moore; his great grandchildren, Alina, Zuri, and Dezmon Jr., with another great-grandchild on the way; his brothers, Cletus Hickman and Ernest (Jewell) Hickman; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Clifford was preceded in death by the love of his life, Adrienne; his parents, Stan and Viola Hickman; his brothers, Clyde Hickman, Harold (Thelma) Hickman, and Robert (Barbara) Hickman; his sister, Margie Hickman; his grandson, Austin Eickmann; his sister-in-law, Maryann (Cletus) Hickman; his nephew, Christopher Hickman; and his aunts, uncles, and their spouses, Edna, Bill (Mattie), Ted (Lula), Woodrow (Annabelle), Berniece (Dave), Robert (Molly) Crumer, Marcella (Carl) Sexton, and Doris Stewart.

A celebration of Cliffords life will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at Lake View Funeral Home, in Fairview Heights, Illinois. Full military honors will follow the service.
