Clyde Stanley Hickman, 79, was born on July 24, 1938 in Lebanon, Illinois, to the union of Stanley and Viola Hickman. Clyde passed away and entered his heavenly home on, November 28, 2017 in Swansea Illinois, with his loving family by his side.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Stanley and Viola (Crumer) Hickman, and his brother, Robert Hickman.
Clyde accepted Christ as his Lord and savior at an early age. He was baptized at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Collinsville, Illinois. He was a devoted Christian man his entire life and showed compassion and love in everything he did. He was willing to lend a helping hand to whom ever needed it, especially his family. Clyde worked for Olin’s Corporation in the ammunition department for over 38 years. He was dedicated and diligent in all that he accomplished in his 79 years on this Earth. He was a loving brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Surviving to cherish memories are his siblings; Cletus (Mary Ann) Hickman, Harold Hickman, Clifford Hickman, Ernest (Jewell) Hickman and Margie Hickman. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
