Constance Margaret Mosley

Margaret was born February 25, 1937 in Birmingham, England to Harold and Constance Lillian (Poultney) Biddle.

She married Derrick Mosley in 1957; he preceded her in death on October 31, 1994.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and her one brother, Gordon Biddle

Margaret is survived by her children, Kim (John) Beal and Blytheville, AR, Lee (Lindsey) Mosley of Birmingham, England, and Donna (Robert) Schmittling of Swansea, IL; grandchildren, Jamie (Danielle) Beal, Jennifer Beal, Scott (Danielle) Mosley, Jonathan (Karlie) Weaver, Robyn (Mike) Soto, Luke (Jessica) Weaver, Leanne Mosley, Joshua Mosley, Matthew (Meredith) Weaver, Nathan (Blair) Schmittling, Nathan Mosley, Zak Mosley; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Margaret cared for others as a scrub nurse in England for more than thirty years. She retired and moved to the United States, where she continued her working career as an administrative assistant for Cedar Ridge in Lebanon, until 2020.

All of her life, Margaret was a talented and beautiful dancer. She loved all animals, especially her beloved dachshund, Gretchen who passed in 2021.

Above all else, Margaret loved her family dearly. She cherished the time she was able to spend with them. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

A funeral service for Margaret will be held on Wednesday January 3, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Trinity United Church of Christ in Belleville, IL. Cremation rites will follow under the direction of Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, IL.
