

He was born on February 4, 1948, in St. Louis, MO, to the late Howard and Eldridge (nee Howard) Tyberendt.
Dale was a hardworking, devoted, and family-centered man who found joy in the simple but meaningful parts of life. He loved caring for his yard and took great pride in keeping it beautiful. His happiest moments were spent alongside his beloved wife, as the two did everything together and shared an inseparable bond. Professionally, he dedicated himself to his jobs, working in the automotive industry, an appliance salesman, and later serving as a delivery driver of a courier, where he built many lasting friendships. Known for his steady presence, warm smile, and devotion to family, Dale leaves behind a legacy of love, commitment, and cherished memories.
In addition to his parents, Dale is preceded by a son, Thomas Jeffrey Tyberendt; brother, Howard Donovan; and sister, Sandra Finney.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Leslie (nee Hurd) Tyberendt, whom he married on August 22, 1970; brother, Ricky Tyberendt; and sister, Betty Binkley.
Visitation will be held at Lake View Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., and again on Thursday, August 21, 2025, prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
Funeral services will take place on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., with Reverend Michael Walther officiating.
A burial to follow services at Lake View Memorial Gardens.
Contributions to Dale’s memory may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children.
