Daniel proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He was an avid fisherman and member of the Angler’s Association. He was an outdoorsman, who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends at his clubhouse. He was an avid hunter and always enjoyed a good barbeque. He was a loving family man, who will be missed by all who knew him.
Surviving are his loving wife, Linda Elliott, nee Helmholt, of Belleville, Illinois; his sons, Daniel Elliott and Scott (Valerie) Elliott; his two close grandchildren, Kayla Elliott and Christian Elliott; his other grandchildren; a special brother and sister-in-law, Walter “Al” and Cheryl Ernst; a brother, Jerry (Sandy) Anna; and many other brothers, sisters, in-laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
