Rip was born on November 16, 1948, in East St. Louis, Illinois to the late Hughie D. Kimme and Virginia Kimme (nee Hager).
For 58 years, Rip worked as a carpenter for Local 662.
Rip was an avid reader and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Rip is survived by his sons, Gabriel Kimme (of Belleville, Illinois) and Joel Kimme (of Santa Clarita, California); along with family and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made in Rip's honor to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or your favorite charity.
