She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lyle A. Grover; her brothers, Ronald Barrow, Wilbur Barrow, and Thornton Barrow; her sister, Shirley (Barrow) Kingery; her grandson, Chase Grover; and her great-grandson, Roman Dugal.
Darlene is survived by her loving children, Lyle Daniel Grover, Jonathan Grover (Kay) and David Grover; her cherished grandchildren, Aaron Grover, Joshua Grover (Erica), Kristen Dugal (Nicholas), Nathan Grover (Bailey); and Naomi Grover; and nine adored great-grandchildren.
Faith and ministering to others was the foundation of Darlene’s life. She loved meeting people from all walks of life, different cultural backgrounds, journaling her reflections, and reading her Bible daily. She was a gifted musician and painter, a devoted minister to others, and found great joy in teaching Sunday school. Darlene also had a special ministry of crocheting delicate handkerchiefs, which she lovingly prayed over and shared with those in need of comfort and encouragement.
She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her unwavering faith, and her ability to share love and kindness with everyone she met.
