Every time I ran into Dennis, he would remind me that if I got stuck in the bathroom he would be able to help me Of course he was referring to the time when I was five years old and his mom (my Aunt Agnes)always took care of me in the afternoons after I went to morning kindergarten. One day I got stuck in their bathroom. Dennis came to my rescue and from then on was a hero to a very frightened five-year-old girl!
We are so sorry We didn't know it was time to say goodbye to such a gentle and caring soul. We take comfort in knowing we will see him again.

We are so very sorry to hear of Dennis passing.
I knew Dennis and his brothers, Otis and Bill, at an early age.
We all liked to play baseball at the Herrin baseball diamond. This was our summer fun.
Our condolences to all the Calliss family and friends.
