

Donald proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He worked as a Vice President in banking, at Mid America Trust for over 25 years until his retirement. He was a coach, a collegiate athlete graduating from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri and an avid sports fan. Don possessed a contagious uplifting spirit and a positive outlook on life. He was always ready with a joke and a willingness to help. He was a devoted caretaker of family members all of his life. Don was very health conscious, enjoyed all sporting events and spending time around family & friends.
He was a devoted husband, father and friend. He will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Shirley R. (nee White) Healey; his parents William and Susan (nee Ambromovich) Healey; his siblings, Evelyn Burniski and William Healey Jr.
Surviving to cherish memories are his loving children; Ray (Melanie) Healey, of Greenlawn, NY, Sharon Howard, of Cuero, TX and Gregg Healey, of Buncombe, Illinois; his grandchildren, Samantha Healey, Bella Healey, Kyla Healey and Gracie Howard; a sister, June Kreuter of Clearwater, FL; a brother, Russel (Betty Jo) Healey of San Marcos, TX; and a number of dear nieces, nephews, relatives & friends.

Funeral Service: Funeral Services will be begin immediately following visitation at 2pm at Lake View Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Interment to follow in Lake View Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
