Donald W. Hobbs Sr.

Donald W. Hobbs Sr., 52, of Madison, Illinois, born November 2, 1960 in East St. Louis, Illinois, died Sunday, March 17, 2013 a Coulterville Care Center.

Mr. Hobbs was a former volunteer fire fighter for both Lenzburg and Fayetteville Fire Departments.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Hobbs, nee Brown, and his parents; Donald Wesley and Charlotte, nee Belle, Hobbs.

Surviving are his children; Donald (Kelly) Hobbs Jr. of Coulterville, Illinois, Dwayne (Belinda) Ramsey of Madison, Illinois, Christina Hobbs of Coulterville, Illinois, and Carissa Hobbs of Wilmore, Kentucky, grandchildren; Erik, Jasmine, Beth, Drake, Stephanie, Jennifer, Dawson, Andrew, and Kimberly, ten great grandchildren, sisters; Patty Miller of New Haven, Missouri, Kathy Hobbs of Waterloo, Illinois, and Cindy Lacey of O’Fallon, Illinois, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral: A memorial service will be held at 11:30 am, Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Calvary Church, 1509 Melmar Dr., Sparta, Illinois 62286. Inurnment will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois
