Dorothy A. Evans

Mrs. Evans was a Master Cosmetologist and teacher for 20 years at the Indiana State Girls School. She was a member of the Little Sisters of the Poor, St Augustine Guild, in Indianapolis. She was a parishioner at St. Jude Catholic Church, Spencer Indiana. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts; and was an avid card player, especially, Skip-Bo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mary (Yuks) Leppert; three brothers, Robert, William, and George Leppert; and two sisters, Alma Evans and Louise Leslie, daughter in law Catherine (Kate) Evans.

Surviving are her children, Robert (Sally) Evans, of Freedom, Ind., William (Trish) Evans, of Fairview Heights, IL., Rosemarie Adams, of Kalamazoo, Mich., and Richard (Pam) Evans, of Elberfield, Ind.; grandchildren, Stephen (Stephanie) Evans, James Evans, Michael (Paula) Evans, Craig (Cheryl) Adams, Matthew (Jenifer) Adams, Andrea (Jeff) Dunn, Heather ( Steven) Donavan , and Justin; her great grandchildren, Caitlyn, Julian, Sonny, Eli, Clayton, Grace, Mason, Brandon, Adam, Stephanie, Jon, Crystal; great great grandsons, Christian, Jasmine, Silas; brother, Elmer Leppert, of Indianapolis, Ind.; a brother-in-law, Robert Evans; and two sisters-in-law, Pauline and Lenora Evans; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held at Calvary Catholic Cemetery Chapel, 435 Troy Ave, Indianapolis, IN. at 11a.m., on October 19, 20113. A time of fellowship will be held immediately following at the Knights of Columbus 511 E. Thompson Rd, Indianapolis, IN. at 12 noon.
