

Mrs. Foppe had worked at E-cono-mart in O’Fallon, Illinois and St. Elizabeth Hospital. Dorothy was a parishering of St. Clare Catholic Church, O’Fallon, Illinois and St. Albert’s Catholic Church, formerly in Fairview Heights, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Adolph “Frog” Foppe; her parents, Thomas and Hattie Mae, nee Stevenson, Reay, Sr.; three brothers, Dale, Harold, and Thomas Reay; and three sisters, Bernice Erkman, Mildred Jung, and Geraldine Reinacher.
Surviving are children, Steven A. (Deborah) Foppe, of Swansea, Illinois, Michael E. (Sherri) Foppe, of Fairview Heights, Illinois, Deborah A. (Jerry Robbins) Jacobs, of Caseyville, Illinois, and Karen Sue (Christian) Weinland, of Belleville, Illinois; her grandchildren, Michelle (John) Hill, Lisa Stringer, Nicole Hafford, April (Jeremy) Hannes, Shawn (Jenny) Foppe, Jeremy (Brandi) Foppe, Amanda Foppe, Brandon Weinland, and Madellyne Weinland; her great grandchildren, James Foppe, Christopher Herbstreit, Taiylar Foppe, Joie Hafford, Olivia Hill, Harrison Hill, Tyler Hannes, Kaitlyn Hannes, and Payton Hannes; a brother Vincent Reay, of Collinsville, Illinois; a brother-in-law, Eugene Reinacher, of Belleville, Illinois; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral: Services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, at Peace Lutheran Church, Belleville, Illinois, with Dorothy’ son, Rev. Michael Foppe, officiating. Interment will be held in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
