Dorothy Ellen McIntyre

Dorothy was retired from AT&T. She enjoyed playing bingo, playing cards, playing search and find games on the internet, and spending time with her family. Dorothy loved the outdoors and loved fishing, gardening, mowing the lawn on her riding lawnmower, and enjoying her view of the lake.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mamie, nee Poff, Habermehl; and two sisters, Wilma Withrow and Lillian Roberts.

Surviving are her children, Mark (Betty) McIntyre of Hillsboro, Ill.; two grandchildren, Ashley Hernandez of Hillsboro, Ill., and Derek McIntyre of Belleville, Ill.; siblings, George Habermehl Sr., Robert (Linda) Habermehl, Edna (Tom) Dillion of Swansea, Ill., Dalores (Don) McAlister of Belleville, Ill., and Katie Habermehl of Belleville, Ill.; special friend, Billie Houghland; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral: A memorial visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
