Dwayne worked as a General Contractor in Belleville, a job he truly loved. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, dedicating four years of service. He was also known as the world’s greatest professional Jet Ski rider, and if you didn’t believe him, he had the award to prove it. When he wasn’t spending his time on the lake, he could be found riding around town with his dogs, stopping at McDonald’s for their daily cheeseburger treats. In his free time he loved being with his family, barbequing pork steaks, and watching reruns of old army movies.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Frances, nee Campbell, Schaller; and a daughter, Amity Marie Schaller.
He is survived by a daughter, Codi (Seth) Ridgway; a son, Tyler (Katelynn) Schaller; a granddaughter, Charleigh Schaller; four brothers, Rick Schaller, Todd Schaller, Daniel Schaller, and Steve Schaller; his life partner, Yolanda Harris; his dog-children, Tyson, Sadie, Stella, and Tundra; as well as many other relatives and friends.
