Edward H. Barfield

Ed retired as an Installer for the Western Electric Company. He was a former member of Westview Baptist Church and the Angler’s Club.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Gloria M., nee Harris, Barfield, who died May 25, 2001; his parents, Edward L. and Kathryn, nee Randolph, Barfield; two brothers, Donald W. Barfield and David “Bear” Randolph; and a sister, Shirley Bush.

He is survived by two sons, Michael (Teresa) Barfield and Roger (Jan) Barfield; a daughter, Patricia (James) Murray; ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Bonnie Mutto.

Visitation: Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, August, 11, 2017 at Lake View Funeral Home, 5000 N. Illinois, Fairview Heights, IL.

Funeral: Services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Lake View Funeral Home with Rev. John Massena officiating. Interment will follow in Lake View Memorial Gardens.
