Eileen Haley

Eileen was a member of Signal Hill Lutheran Church, Belleville, Ill. She worked for five years at Mercantile Bank in the Transit Department, Famous Barr for 3 years as well as Kaffers Restaurant for 2 years. She worked in the nursing home industry for 20 years helping many people and was the head of the activities department and a nurses aid.

Eileen enjoyed oil painting and was a member of the Red Hat Society.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton F. & Marie C., nee Mauer, Arnold.

Surviving are her loving husband of 25 years, Donald A. Haley; her son, Theodore “Ted” E. Zehner Jr., three grandchildren, Crystal & Stephen Zehner and Mary (Jimmy) Goetter; three great-grandchildren, Lillian Peach & Tripton Lee Zehner-Ebersole and Nevaeh Mae Goetter; sister, Shirley (Richard) Kroener; a nephew, Michael Kroener and a niece, Kathy (Kevin) Hess and a great niece and great nephews and many dear friends.

Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Association, American Heart Association or to the Belleville Humane Society, Belleville, Ill.

Visitation: Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. on Friday, September 7, 2012 at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Ill.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, September 7, 2012 at Lake View Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Stewart officiating. Interment will be held in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.
