Ella Mae Berger Geschwend

Ella Mae was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Belleville, Ill., she loved to bowl and was an avid reader. She loved to cook for her family and enjoyed spending time with all of them.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe L. "Rocky" Geschwend Sr., her parents, George and Margaret, nee Penrod, Berger; and two brothers, George (Lillian) Berger and Tobias (Katherine) Berger.

Surviving are her children, Roscoe "Bud" L. (Carol) Geschwend Jr., of Belleville, Ill., Eugene Geschwend of Belleville, Ill., and Diana (Robert) Sims of Belleville, Ill.; grandchildren, Jodie (Jeff) Massey of Argyle, Texas, Teri (Jim) Monken of Swansea, Ill., Richard (Keo) Geschwend of Shiloh, Ill., Jennifer Sims of Seattle, Wash., and Kerry Sims of New York City, N.Y.; great-grandchildren, Kylee, Dran and Elainee Crenshaw of Texas., Taylor, Jimmy, Sophia and Rachel Monken of Swansea, Ill., and Veronica and Grace Geschwend of Shiloh, Ill.

Memorials may be made to Calvary Lutheran Church, Belleville, Ill., or to Hospice of Southern Illinois.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 14, 2010, at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 15, 2010, at Lake View Funeral Home. Interment will be held in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.
