Evelyn F. Heien

Mrs. Heien was a member of the United Church of Christ, in O’Fallon, Illinois and a member, of the churches; 50+ Group. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will truly be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Scott Fischer; second husband, Maurice Heien; a daughter, Judith Freeman, nee Fischer; her parents, Joseph and Georgia, nee Hanna, Mundy; and step- father, Jack Turley.

Surviving are her four sons, Scott (Donna) Fischer, Robert Fischer, James (Judy) Fischer, all of Belleville, Illinois, and Timothy Fischer, of O’Fallon, Illinois; six grandchildren, Kristine Burke, nee Koderhandt, Michael Koderhandt, Terry (Robin) Koderhandt, Jay (Natasha) Fischer, Jason (Patricia) Fischer, and Kari (Patrick Schmidt) Fischer; and 10 great grandchildren.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, April 30, 2013, and from 9 to 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Illinois.

Funeral: Services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
