OBITUARY
Floyd W. Aaron
February 21, 1926 – April 4, 2011
Floyd W. Aaron, 85, of Troy, Ill., born Feb. 21, 1926, in Thompsonville, Ill., died Monday, April 4, 2011, at University Nursing and Rehab Center in Edwardsville, Ill.
Mr. Aaron was retired from Union Electric. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Navy. Floyd was a lifetime member of American Legion Post 58 Belleville, Ill. He also earned his mechanical engineer's license in 1972.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Etta, nee Bozarth, Aaron; and two brothers, Sherman and Kenneth Aaron.
Surviving are his wife, Carol, nee Roberts, Aaron; a son, Gregory (Marsha) Aaron of Bull Shoals, Ark.; two daughters, Janet (John) Pegg of Edwardsville, Ill., and Carol (Jim) Meirink of Overbrook, Kan.; a step-daughter, Victoria (Mark) Bugger of Edwardsville, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 7, 2011, at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 8, 2011, at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.
