Frances J. Bunch

Frances Johanna Bunch, 83, from Collinsville, IL, passed away Friday, June 26, 2026, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. She was born on February 28, 1943, and lived a life centered on faith, family, kindness, and service to others.

Frances found her greatest joy in spending time with her family and caring for those she loved. She treasured every moment spent together, celebrating milestones, creating memories, and surrounding those she loved with unwavering support and unconditional love. Her gentle heart, compassionate spirit, and selfless nature left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. She will be remembered for her warm smile, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion to her family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jerry Bunch; her parents, Anthony and Lillian Rukavina; brother, Tony Rukavina; and sister, Delores Wells.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Chris Bunch and Rich Bunch; stepson, Jerry Bunch Jr.; her sisters, Ruthann River and Janet Smith; her grandchild, Angelyn Edwards; her great-grandchildren, Korra Edwards and Kylo Edwards; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.

Though her family grieves her passing, they find comfort in knowing that the love Frances shared will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

A Graveside Service will be held at Lake View Memorial Gardens, 5000 North Illinois Street, Fairview Heights, IL, on July 9, 2026, from 9:00 am to 9:30 am. Family and Friends may gather in the funeral home lobby between 8:45 AM and 9:00 AM and will go in procession to the graveside.
