Francis Gene Haney, 82 of Fairview Heights, IL, passed away on January 15, 2019. He was born on June 2, 1936 in East St. Louis, IL to the late John & Hattie Haney Sr. Francis proudly served in the United States Army. Some of his hobbies included cooking, cars, and doing yard work on his house.
Preceeding Francis in passing is his parents, and siblings, Stan (Monene) Haney and Della (Rich) Hemmer.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife, Barbara; children, Tracey (E.J.) Bach, Kevin (Diane) Haney; grandchildren, Jennifer Haney, Stephanie Fears, Amanda Fears, Nicole Bach, Samantha Bach, Erica Anaya, Melissa Andrade, Eddie Haney; great grandchildren, Kane, Tiffany, Lucas, Bailey, Blake, Kayla, Chelsea, Christine, Cheyenne, Cameron, Trayden, Kaylee, Helena, Gionni; great-great grandson, Jayden; siblings Ray (Jackie) Haney, John (Caroline) Haney; brother-in-law, Thomas Simpson along with nieces, nephews, and numerous extended family and friends.
