Geneta L Clark

Geneta was born February 18, 1938 in Livingston, IL to August and Geneva (Neighbors) Falk. They preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Clark Sr in 2015; son, Donald Lucier Jr. in 2019; son, John Clark Jr.; daughter Gladys McCoy; and sister, Rosemary Westerheid.

Geneta is survived by her children, Melissa (Martin) Carr of Chino Valley, AZ; Denise (Eric) Gillan of Columbia, IL, Mary Ann Kinnard of Caseyville, IL; David Clark of Caseyville, IL; Sharon (Mike) Robke of O’Fallon, IL; many beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Bill (Doris) Falk of Collinsville, IL; brother-in-law, Charles Westerheid of Belleville, IL; and daughter-in-law, Cyndi Lucier.

Geneta was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and loved playing bingo. She always called her friends and family on their birthdays to make their day extra special. She was a wonderful cook, but never just made enough for one or two, as there was always plenty for anyone who wanted to stop in for a meal. Although she never drove a day in her life, she never had trouble finding a ride if she wanted to get out. Geneta’s friends and family were always willing to give her a ride or help her, simply because they knew that’s what she would have done for them. She was a loving soul to all who were lucky enough to know her. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

A private visitation and funeral service will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021 at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, IL.

Interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights IL at 11:30 A.M.
